Cocoa is a Sterculiaceae family fruit tree, originating from Amazonia, reaching 5 to 10 meters in its natural environment. Adapted to be cultivated in the shadow in a pot, to be put in heated greenhouse in winter. Minimum temperature 15° C. Raising time 15 to 20 days at 28 to 30° C.
Beans, once harvested, are used for chocolate production, after fermentation, torrefaction, crushing etc.
CAUTION: Very short germinal period. To sow IMMEDIATELY after arrival. Seeds are harvested on expedition day and envelopped in
a bag with humified turf
